Peacefully, on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Port Perry Place (Community Nursing Home, Port Perry), at age 95. Betty Bennett, formerly Kendell (nee Hurd), loving and cherished mother of Bob Kendell and his wife Janice of Port Perry, and Sue (nee Kendell) and her husband Steve Brain of Prince Albert. Loved grandma of Josh, and Mike. Pre deceased by her sister Helen Vizely. The family of Betty Bennett will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to Celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. with Reverend Elaine Hall officiating. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Scarborough. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to Port Perry Place Residents Activity Fund.
