Obituary of Brenda Speers

Suddenly after a short illness, on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 83. Brenda (nee Bailey) formerly of Shelburne, beloved wife of the late Howard Speers and the late George Weise. Loved mother of Monica Weise of Ottawa, Sylvia Patterson (Murray) of Ashburn, Neal Weise of Ashburn and Trevor Weise of Sudbury. Loving grandmother of Joseph (Michelle), Ian (Hannah), Shahin (Erin), Bailey (Jeff), Jordan (Ryan) and Andrea (Ryan) and great grandmother of Emerest, Ella, Leo and Arloh. Survived by her sister Susan Gidney of England. Brenda will be missed by Patricia Speers of Colorado, Ronald Speers (Karen) of Dundalk, Allan Speers (Donna) of Melancthon Township and Carolyn Speers of Toronto. The family of Brenda Speers will receive friends at the Anglican Church of the Ascension, 266 North Street in Port Perry on Tuesday, April 11th from 1 - 2 p.m. A Service to Celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the CNIB.
