Obituary of Margaret Jane Shaver

Margaret Jane Shaver (nee McCarrell) of Port Perry was born on February 5, 1930 in Lindsay, Ontario. She was the dear mother of Garry Rae and the grandmother of Crystal Gorman (Keith), Lisa Rae (Jason Burn) and great grandmother of Lily, Emma, Barter and Lincoln of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews who have been her family for many years. We will miss your smile and amazing personality, love you Auntie: Doris & Gloria. Margaret passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, May 29, 2017 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry at the age of 87. Margaret was 1 of 4 sisters, she was predeceased by her sisters Marjorie Tripp and Doris Cartier and she is survived by Doreen Jones. She particularly enjoyed her time spent as a volunteer with the Hospital Auxiliary of Lakeridge Health, Port Perry, going to the casino, music, and in her younger years dancing. You could always see her shoulder bee bopping!
