Obituary of John Gordon Watson

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of John Watson, on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 63. John Watson, beloved husband of Laura (nee Cannon) of Port Perry. Loving brother of David (deceased) and his wife Elena, George (deceased) and his wife Gwen, Robert and his wife Alma, William and his wife Elizabeth. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law Janet and her husband Ken Rankin (deceased), Mary Cannon (deceased), Ian Cannon (deceased), Jaqualine and her husband Ray Rankin, Kevin Cannon (deceased) and his wife Cathy, Johnnie Cannon (deceased), Melodie Cannon, Sheila Cannon, and David Cannon and his wife Sharry-Lynn, his many nieces and nephews, and his fur babies Belle and Piper. John was predeceased by his parents Ambrose and Vera Watson and his father and mother-in-law Melvyn and Mary Cannon. The family of John Watson will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, August 22nd, from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 23rd from 1 - 2 p.m. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 23rd at 2 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Kidney Foundation or the Uxbridge/Scugog Animal Shelter.
