Obituary of Muriel Irene Wotten

Peacefully, at her home, on Friday, September 1, 2017, at age 88. Muriel (nee McLean), beloved wife of the late John Henry Wotten of Blackstock. Loved mother of David Wotten and his wife Lois, Patricia Millson and Wayne Piggett, Lyle Millson (deceased), Joan and the late Floyd Argue, Carol and her husband Brian Gray, Norma and her husband Jeffrey Lott, and Thomas Wotten and his wife Wilma. Dear sister of Marjorie and Herb (deceased) Prescott, David (Ernest) and Hertha (deceased) McLean, Jean and Andre Brouillette (both deceased) and Heber and Joan McLean (both deceased). Loving grandmother to 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. The family of Muriel Wotten will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, September 11th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Blackstock United Church on Tuesday, September 12th at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jennifer Uhryniw officiating. Interment Cartwright Union Cemetery, Blackstock.
