I met Heidi more than 25 years ago through our mutual love of dogs. We trained dogs together for several years in the Caesarea Community Hall. She was also part of the first St.John's Ambulance Service Dogs programme that visited the Port Perry Villa. I admired her energy and commitment to everything she undertook. She was a force to reckon with!! Sincere condolences to her family.

My dear friend and former neighbour for many years, Heidi - you will be missed by many. Our whole family had the pleasure of her friendship - our boys called her Mrs. Heidi as she was always close by when they grew up. Our love of animals was a special bond as well. I'm so glad we had a lovely visit in the Fall - I will cherish that memory and so many others.
