Obituary of Dean Fredrick Mank
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dean Mank announce his peaceful passing from his temporary home to his eternal home on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 6:15 p.m. at the Ajax Pickering Hospital.
Dean was born on December 6, 1968 in Vancouver to John and Joan Mank. He attended school at St. Andrews College in Aurora. Dean was a beautiful blonde haired, dimpled baby boy. He loved his family and friends, and they loved him. When he was 25 years old, he was rendered a quadriplegic due to a car accident. He lived life to the fullest with his many limitations and loved his home in Port Perry. He experienced much pain in his last few years. He had spent three weeks in the Ajax-Pickering Hospital in ICU before his passing. Saying he will be missed is a total understatement. You couldn’t have been loved more, Sweetheart.
Dean leaves to mourn his loving parents, John and Joan. He also leaves behind his oldest brother Tim and youngest brother Todd, and his sister-in-law Rachel.
The family of Dean Mank will receive friends at the Port Perry Baptist Church, 2210 Highway 7A in Port Perry on Friday, March 7th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to Celebrate Dean’s life will be held in the Church at 11 a.m.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Port Perry Baptist Church. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.waggfuneralhome.com
