Obituary of Jason Scott Bertrand
After a short illness, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 55. Jason Bertrand, beloved son of Allan (Hank) and Lynne Bertrand of Haliburton. Dear brother of Collette Roberge (Paul Hamilton) of Janetville. Loved uncle of Dalton and Cody Roberge, special friend of Kelly Retter and cherished nephew of Ken. Dear nephew to Wilf and Janice Gliddon and cousin to Anna Gliddon.
Jason worked for 36 years as a crane operator - both mobile and tower. He retired to Haliburton June 1st, 2024. He enjoyed golfing with his friend, Ron. He even took up curling. He was able to enjoy the outdoors, which he loved, until his passing. Jason was a free spirit. He was kind, generous and loving. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The family of Jason Bertrand will receive friends at the Haliburton United Church, 10 George Street in Haliburton (corner of Pine Avenue and George Street) on Saturday, August 9th from 11 a.m. - 12 noon immediately followed by a service.
