It's been one of our privileges in life to have known Bruce. His infectious enthusiasm has left a lasting impression on us. Whether it be restoring old boats, building houses in out-of-the-way places, researching local history or recording the bird life on Scugog, he was able to share his interests and his insights.
And above all else a man clearly devoted to his wife and all his family. We will remember him with great fondness.

I am immensely grateful to Bruce for giving his time and energy to the Scugog Shores Museum. He served as chairman for several years. It was a privilege to work with him, as his expertise enabled us to hire the best staff and carry out great programs at the facility.
His efforts will never be forgotten.
