With fond memories of days gone by, we are sorry to hear of the passing of Ron, and offer our deepest condolences and prayers of comfort and support to all the Fry Family.
It was Pastor Ron who saw God's potential in people and with a smile of encouragement, prevailing prayer, words of wisdom, and and belief in the grace of God, Ron was a blessing to all those he had opportunity to minister to and care for.
We will always be grateful to Ron as the Canada Central District Superintendent, in giving Bud - as a rookie pastor - the opportunity to be the Lead Pastor at Hamilton First Church of the Nazarene. Barbara and Ron, along with Elizabeth and Roy, were such an encouragement to our family during those wonderful years in Hamilton (1996-2006).
Grace & Peace,
Bud & Bethany Sargent

We are forever grateful for the life and ministry of Brother Ron Fry. He was gentle in Spirit, yet firm; he was quiet in mannerism, yet bold in Christ; he was humble, yet confident in God's calling upon his life. What an honour to follow him in pastoral and district assignments journeying through
the great continuim of Gospel declaration, the very message that is now fulfilled as he is in the presence of the "Word made Flesh". Thankyou Brother Ron, and peace to Barb and the family at this time.

Love and prayers to the Fry family. Ron was our Pastor while attending Canadian Nazarene College in the 70's! Ron was a lifetime friend. Most important, he was a friend of God.

Barbara, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Pastor Fry.
He was always humble and kind, and showed my family and I great compassion that gives us hope and comfort at my mother's funeral. He was so loved.
He will always be my Pastor. May God's peace surround you always.

The Emmanuel Spanish church in the Central District is deeply grateful to God for the life, testimony, and ministry of Dr. Ron Fry. He opened the doors for the planting of the first Hispanic church at Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene. As a result of that initiative, we now have several Spanish-language churches and many trained and equipped ministers serving the Lord in this district. Good work, Ron.

Dear Barbara & family,
We extend our sympathy to you and your family at the loss you have experienced. I will forever be grateful for the home visits Ron made to my father who spent his last few months living with me. He also performed his funeral ceremony and in addition had no hesitation in consenting to travel outside of Winnipeg to perform the burial service, even though it was close to a 2 hour drive. Ron was always caring and thoughtful in his dealings with others and his sermons were always insightful. What I appreciated the most was his open minded approach to his ministering.
Blessings to all of you.

Dear Barb, Liz&Roy, Larry, Jonathan and families - we are sad to hear about Rev. Fry. He was the pastor who married us in 1989 and declared at our counselling, "This is going to be an interesting marriage!" with his quiet humor, characteristic twinkle in his eye and a chuckle. (Well, 36 years later I can say he was right!) He was a terrific pastor and a good friend to my parents and a wonderful husband and family man and he will be missed but the positive impact he had on many will remain. Our love to you all at this time of loss. ~Craig & Debbie
