Obituary of Joseph Mayer

Peacefully, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry on Monday, October 20, 2025, at age 91. Joseph Mayer, beloved husband of Tamara (nee Leder). Loved father of Debbie Mason (Bryan) and Joseph Mayer Jr. Cherished Opa to his grandchildren Rick Mason (Dora), Monica Weber (Mark), Joey Mayer (Destany), Hannah Mayer, and his great grandchildren Amelia Mason, Eleanor Mason, and Kieran Weber. Joseph thoroughly enjoyed working on his farm, fixing cars and machinery. Joseph’s passion was sailing, an activity he enjoyed while he and Tamara spent time as Snow Bird’s in Florida. A private Celebration of his Life will be held at the family home in Blackstock. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation.
