Obituary of Garry Wayne Collins
After a lengthy illness on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 82. Garry Collins, beloved husband of Gloria (nee Huffman. Loved father of Greg (Colleen) and Chris (Krista). Loving grandfather of Hailey (Jesse), Erin (Tucker), Ben, Tyler (Maddy), Emily, Justin (Emily) and Kristin (Austin) and great grandfather of Theo. Dear son of the late Middleton and Edith Collins. Garry is survived by his sisters Lucille McGill and June Collins and he was predeceased by Roy (Betty), Jack (Laura), Merle (Blanche), Everet, Lorraine Harrison (Lloyd), Ruth Perkin (John), Joan Bowler (Ed), Yvonne Zigler (Andy), and Alletta Rusnell (Keith). He will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Garry was an avid hunter and fisherman. The Collins family would like to thank their friends and neighbours, the PSW’s, Community Paramedics, Ross Memorial Hospital and the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry.
