Obituary of Frederick David Kyle

Peacefully, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Ajax Pickering Hospital. Fred Kyle, beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Hayden). Loved father of Greg (Stacey), Darren, and John (Jen). Cherished grandfather of Hadley and Beatrice. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Jessie (nee Easson), his sister Beverley Fellows (Garry), and his brother Wayne Kyle (Marlene). Fred also leaves behind his many nieces and nephews. Fred will be sadly missed by his many friends.

 

A true gentleman, Fred was ready to lend a hand to anyone that needed help, and was immensely proud of his family and all of their accomplishments. Spending time with his family was one of his biggest joys.  He thoroughly enjoyed sports, especially golf, hockey and football.  Retired after many years from General Motors where he worked at the Truck Plant.

 

A special thank you to the Nurses and Doctors of Lakeridge Health Network for the amazing care they provided.

 

The family of Fred Kyle will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, March 6th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery.
