Obituary of MaryLynn Holtby

Peacefully at home on Friday, May 1, 2026. MaryLynn Holtby, age 75 years, beloved sister of Barbara (Richard Carnegie), Roger Holtby (Bonnie) and Laural (Paul Griffen). Special Aunt Mimi to Andrea, Graham, Gavin, Janet, Hillary and Natalie and great aunt to Berklee, Sophia, Alexa, Zain and Olivia. Special friend of John Leask. Predeceased by her parents Murray and Tot Holtby. MaryLynn was a very creative person with a flair for colour and design. Her meticulous attention to detail was evident in her artistic work, culinary creations, home decor and in her choice of fashion. MaryLynn lived life with a good sense of humour. She was curious about a wide variety of topics, always enjoying “outside the box” deep discussions. Her love of animals was an important part of her life, especially caring for her beloved cats over the years. Her family and friends will miss her beautiful smile, her contagious laughter and her generous spirit. Rest in peace.
