Obituary of Robert Donald Jamieson
Peacefully, on Thursday, May 7, 2026 in his 83rd year, surrounded by the love of family members. Beloved husband of Connie for 57 years. Loving father of Rob (Lea) of Barrie, Kent (Alison) of Singapore. Proud grandfather of Josselyn, Eva, and Chase. Predeceased by parents Helen and Don Jamieson, and brother Doug. Bob will be greatly missed by brother Dave (Margaret), sister-in-law Darlene, brothers-in-law Morgan Snow (Catherine), Steve Snow (Debbie), Dan Snow and cousin Phyllis Durnford, nieces and nephews and their families; and a wide circle of friends. Bob worked at the Bank of Nova Scotia and several auto dealerships before self-employment in Keep Track Accounting, and creating a partnership in Pineridge Sports and Skate Sharpening in Port Perry. A keen community supporter, Bob "Punch" coached minor sports, volunteered with the Arena Board and with Community Care Durham delivering meals to seniors, and enjoyed family times at the cottage. We are grateful for the support and care Bob received while living in ReachView Village Long Term Care in Uxbridge. Truly a nursing home full of angels.
