Obituary of Bob Rowland

Peacefully, on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at his home in Port Perry, at age 92. Bob Rowland, beloved husband of M. Thelma “Bunny” (nee McEachern). Loving father to Margaret Rowland and Janet (Sean) Gawley. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Marion Rowland and his brother Foster Rowland.

Bob, after 42 years of employment with General Motors, found joy in retirement by helping the Berry family (who nicknamed him "Bobbers") at Parry Sound KOA over the course of many summer camping seasons.

The family of Robert Rowland will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Saturday, July 18th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service will be held at 11 a.m. with Reverend David Clinker officiating. Private interment will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or the Oak Ridges Hospice.
