Obituary of Donna Irene Sweetman
Peacefully, on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Ridgewood Lodge in Princeton, British Columbia, at age 90. Donna (nee Porter), cherished wife of the late Gary Sweetman of Seagrave. Proud and loving mother of Kent Sweetman and his wife Catherine Norris of Mississauga, and Lyn and her husband Patrick Kerr of Princeton, BC. Loved grandmother of Amanda, Samantha, Micheal and Skye, Megan and Grace and great grandmother of Carver, Abby, Jace, Maddox, Stormi, Riley and Wren. Dear sister of Verda and Dianne. Predeceased by her parents Violet (nee Patton) and Picton Porter. Donna will be missed by her nieces and nephews. Rested at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171). Private interment Pleasant Point Cemetery.
A Service to celebrate the life of Donna Sweetman will be held in the Seagrave United Church on Thursday, July 2nd at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Seagrave United Church or to the Auxiliary to Lakeridge Health Port Perry.
