Obituary of Murray Byers

MURRAY BYERS ~ Peacefully, on Friday, March 19, 2010 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 96. Murray Byers of Blackstock, beloved husband of the late Aileen (nee Mountjoy). Loved father of Jim Byers and his wife Barbara (deceased) of Blackstock, and Janice and her husband Les Bushfield of London. Loving grandfather of Jeff Byers (Denise), Julie (Fred Slemon), Jennifer (Morgan Adams), Trevor Bushfield (Ashley), and Danna Bushfield (Eddie), and great grandfather of Alex, Bianca, McKenna, Mollie and James. Predeceased by his sister Jean Swain. The family of Murray Byers will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Sunday, March 21st from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Monday, March 22nd at 11 a.m. with Reverend Linda Saffrey officiating.
