Obituary of Elgin Knopp

ELGIN KNOPP (Veteran WW II, Retired from General Motors) Peacefully, on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 92. Elgin Knopp of Port Perry and formerly of Oshawa, beloved husband of the late Muriel (nee Lusty). Loved father of Elgin Knopp Jr. (Annemarie) of Seagrave, Pauline Garden (Pete Danford) of Norwood and Mike Knopp (Linda) of Oshawa. Loving grandfather of Scott Wark (Megan), Heather Knopp (Dimos), Brennan Knopp (Gloria), Jessine Knight (Bill), Nathaniel Knopp, Jacob Knopp and Jaclyn Knopp and great grandfather of Payton, Brydon, Megan, Seth and Felix. He is survived by his sister Anna Prokopetz and his brothers Alan and Morley Knopp and Walter Knapp. He was predeceased by his sisters Helen, Elsie, and Martha and his brothers Danny, Fred, Edwin, and Pete.
