Obituary of Stella Eleanor Birkett

STELLA ELEANOR BIRKETT ~ Peacefully, on Friday, November 5, 2010, at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 88. Stella (nee Flieler) of Port Perry, beloved wife of the late John Ray Birkett. Loving mother of Wayne Birkett and his wife Lou Ann, Gail and her husband Bruce Stainton and Brenda and her husband Dennis Dusureault. Loving grandmother of Kimberly and Stephanie Birkett, Shannon, Brittany, and Kyle Stainton (deceased), Matthew, Deanna and Breanne Dusureault. Dear sister of Arnold Flieler (deceased) and his wife Eileen, Stanley Flieler (deceased), Dorothy Flieler (deceased), Arthur Flieler and his wife Lula, Berna (deceased) and her husband Kingsley Hawes, and John Flieler and his wife Joan. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. The Family of Stella Birkett will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Sunday, November 7th from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Tim Dayfoot officiating.
