LESLIE WILSON SMITH ~ (78 Year Member of the Oddfellows, United Church Elder for 37 Years, 3 Master Breeder Awards National Holstein Association) ~ Peacefully, on Sunday, January 16, 2011, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 97. Leslie Smith of Port Perry, beloved husband of Kathalene Ella May (nee Wilson). Loving father of George Smith and his wife Sharon of Little Britain, Aldon Smith and his wife Jay of Port Perry, Robert Smith and his wife Colleen of Port Perry, Bruce Smith and his friend Diane of Port Perry, Donovan Smith and his wife Trudy of Blackstock, and Karen Andrews and her husband David of Oshawa. Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Michael, Jennifer, Stephen, Sarah, Meghan, Christa, Britni, Jaclyn, Madison, and Rebecca. Great grandfather of Natalie Kathalene. Dear brother of Maude and her husband Orr Graham (both deceased), Marion Stevens and her husband Cyril (deceased), and Lloyd Smith and his wife Ruby of Port Perry. The family of Leslie Smith will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Wednesday, January 19th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, January 20th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Tim Dayfoot officiating.
