Obituary of Rosella Thompson

Peacefully, after a short illness, on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 78. Rose (nee Paterson), beloved wife of John “Jack” Thompson of Port Perry. Loving mother of Michael and his wife Trish of Oshawa, Wayne and his wife Allison of Courtice, and Gord and his wife Trish of Courtice. Loved grandmother of Melissa, Kristina, Jonathan, Jennifer, Stephanie, Aaron, and Alicia and great grandmother of Jack, Ethan, and Lauren. Dear sister of Rochy Paterson and his wife Nancy, Raymond Paterson and his wife Mariana, and Dawn and her husband Ron Burnash. Sadly missed by Mark, Shaun, Jeremy, Ravi and Brittany and her many friends. The family of Rose Thompson will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Sunday, October 16th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy 7A) in Port Perry on Monday, October 17th at 10:30 a.m. with Father Marco Testa officiating.
