Obituary of John Frederick Ballard

JOHN FREDERICK BALLARD Peacefully, on Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 84. John Ballard of Port Perry, beloved husband of Joy (nee Hood). Loved father of Ralph Ballard and his wife Gale of Scugog Island, Rick Ballard and his wife Kelly of Ancaster, Lea-Anne and her husband Gordon Williamson of Seagrave, Donna and her husband Robert Thomson of Scugog Island and Denna and her husband Mark Howsam of Scugog Island. John will be sadly missed by his 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and he was predeceased by his granddaughter Ashleigh Howsam. Dear brother of Donald Ballard of Bancroft, Joan Bagg of Port Perry, Hazel Asling (deceased) and Evaleen Catherwood (deceased). The family of John Ballard will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, November 13th from 1:30 – 4 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Friday, November 14th at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
