Obituary of Helen Mary Hood

HELEN MARY HOOD ~ Peacefully, on Friday, March 27, 2009, at the York Central Hospital in Richmond Hill, at age 84. Helen (nee McMillan), beloved wife of the late J. Gordon Hood of Little Britain. Loved mother of Karen Carter of Ottawa, George Hood and his wife Jean of Toronto, Kathy Dollimore of Bobcaygeon and Susan and her husband Henry Grygiel of Newmarket. Loving grandmother of Edward Jones, Victoria Jones, Stacey Kuebler, Joe Hood, Kevin Grygiel and Johnathan Dollimore and great grandmother of Emma, Alyssa and Christopher. Dear sister of Norine (deceased) and her husband Bob Snoddon of Little Britain. The family of Helen Hood will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Monday, March 30th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. and in the Little Britain United Church on Tuesday, March 31st from 12 noon – 2 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Church at 2 p.m. with Reverend Denise Boyd officiating.
