Obituary of Norman Lavern Boynton

NORMAN BOYNTON ~ (Veteran WW II, Member of the 48th Highlanders) ~ After a courageous battle, on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 83. Norm Boynton, beloved husband of Faye (nee Hawkins) of Blackstock for 20 years and dearly loved husband of the late Margaret (nee Kemp) for 41 years. Loving father of Patricia and her husband Alan Miller of Oshawa, Norma Boynton of Port Perry, and James Boynton (deceased) and stepfather of Colleen Kanters of Oshawa, and Darrell Mitchell and his wife Cindy of Lindsay. Cherished grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother William Boynton. The family of Norm Boynton will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Saturday, July 18th from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. with Michelle Hoffman officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or to the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
