Obituary of George William Hicks

GEORGE WILLIAM HICKS ~ Peacefully after a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 60. George Hicks of Nestleton, beloved husband of Esther (nee Echols). Loved father of Andrew Hicks and his wife Ilene of Nestleton. Loving grandfather of Kaleb. Dear brother of Shirley and her husband Dan Prosser (deceased), and Betty Hicks (his twin sister) all of Blackstock, and uncle of Terry Prosser and his wife Rosemary of Janetville, Cathy and her husband Fred Johnson of Blackstock and Tom Prosser of Blackstock. The family of George Hicks will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Friday, July 31st from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Yelverton Cemetery.
