Obituary of Dorothy Jean Martyn

DOROTHY JEAN MARTYN ~ Peacefully, on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 92. Dorothy (nee Williams), dearly loved wife of the late Laverne Martyn of Scugog Island. She was predeceased by her brothers Murray Williams and Walter M. "Jerry" Williams, and her sisters Mabel Howsam, Alice Cook and Marion Reader. Dear sister-in-law of Harold Martyn and his wife Clara of Scugog Island and Inez Bonner of Scarborough. Dorothy will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. The family of Dorothy Martyn will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, February, 19th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
