Her specialty was hand-made pressed flower birthday cards, with either a little rhyme, or words of wisdom as well as birthday wishes and sometimes a note. At Christmas, my brother and I would receive books, or nik naks, handmade treasures, family heirlooms or jam. She loved cats and wrote about her beloved felines and how her garden was or things that she had been keeping busy with. Two years ago the family gave her a surprise 95th birthday party. RIP Aunt Helen, may you re-unite with Tinkerbell. :)
