ALAN LEO ROBERT AMOS On Sunday, April 2 2006 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 77. Alan Amos of Chalk Lake, beloved husband of Jean (nee Whitbread). Loved father of Wendy and her husband Ivan of Courtice, Heather and her husband Andy of Whitby, Wayne and his wife Katie of Oshawa, James of Oshawa, Billy and his wife Dorothy of Bowmanville, Gayle and her husband Paul of Oshawa, Donny and his wife Tracey of Stoney Creek, Kenny and his wife Sandy of Newtonville, Carol of Oshawa, Denis and his son Carl of Chalk Lake, and Michael of Chalk Lake. He will be sadly missed by his 28 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. The family of Alan Amos will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, April 4th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 5th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Elaine Bidgood-Sveet officiating.
