Obituary of Jean Elizabeth McDermott

JEAN ELIZABETH KOEHL McDERMOTT Peacefully, on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 86. Jean (nee Leslie), beloved wife of the late Flight Lieutenant, Leonard W. Koehl R.C.A.F. (1945) and the late Grant M. McDermott (1996). Devoted mother of John and Sandra of Pickering, Paul and Ginni of Port Perry, Neil and Marybeth of Kingston, and the late baby Sandra Jean Koehl (1943). Adored grandmother of Ryan, Chelsea, and Tyler McDermott of Pickering. Jean was the only daughter of the late Alexander and Janet Leslie of Toronto. Predeceased by her half brothers Marshall, Arthur and George Sanders. The Family of Jean McDermott will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Sunday, April 30th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel on Monday, May 1st, at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Elaine Sveet officiating.
