AUSTIN C.A. "CHUCK" BATHIE (Veteran WW II, RCAF, Chiropractor in Port Perry for over 40 years, Mason for 50 years, Member of Royal Canadian Legion for 60 years, Past President Ontario Chiropractic Association, Member Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Past President Port Perry Curling Club, and Past President Oshawa Shrine Club) Suddenly, on Thursday, August 10, 2006, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 86. Loved father of Rhonda Wagner of Oshawa, Reva Bathie of Port Perry, and Robina and her husband Grant Lucas of Port Perry. Loving grandfather of Michelle, Jenifer, Derek and Jordann. Dear brother of Mary and her husband Roy Brown of Oakville, and Patricia Trickett of Oakville. The family of Austin Bathie will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, August 18th from 12 noon - 1 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. with Reverend Elaine Sveet officiating.
