I have worked with Vicki for the past 6 years at IBM. She was a smart person and great to work with. We shared many of her hardships and delighted in her accomplishments. We also shared many many laughs. (she had a great sense of humor) She was an awesome lady that will be greatly missed by myself and others she worked with. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Vicki has been a good friend since I started at ISM in 1994. We went through good times and bad times together - we supported each other through the bad times and rejoiced in the good times. Bobby was the light of her life, and she loved talking about what he had been doing lately. She was a wonderful friend and a great co-worker - she had a warm heart, and was always ready to help out when needed. She was a great person to work with, and will be sorely missed both as a friend and as a colleague. My deepest sympathy to her family in this time of sorrow.

I have known Vicki for the last 2 and a half years. She was truly a sweet woman. It was a great pleasure to work with her, as well as to get to know her personally. I guess what seemed to leave the biggest impression on me about Vicki was her positive attitude about many things; work, life, people, etc. I, along with very many others, will miss Vicki very much. I feel very priviledged to have known and worked with her. My most sincere condolences to her family at this time.

I have had the pleasure of working with Vicki for quite a number of years and got to know how well she worked with others. She always had something humourous to say - about life and work - to make us laugh. She enjoyed that. Often mentioning her son, it was clear how much she loved him. Vicki, a wonderful person with a lively spirit, will be fondly remembered and missed. My condolences. She will always be with you in your heart and memories.

Very sad to hear of Vicki's passing. In life and work, there are those that are simply a pleasure to associate with and Vicki has always been one of them through her kind ways, good spirits and especially her sense of humour. Vicki and I, both have sons born one month apart. We regularly shared stories of what the boys were up to and how they were growing and exploring the world around them. I will certainly miss Vicki's friendship. My sincere condolences to all her family.

It is with incredible sadness that I learn of the passing of Vicki. I was one of her high school math teachers and I well remember her wit, her camaraderie, her unwavering pertinacity, and her intellect as if it was yesterday. No words can take the sorrow away, but this poem does give me some comfort in these difficult times: <author unknown> Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there, I did not die.

Vicki was a wonderful person! And a wonderful friend to many! I was privileged to meet her in 1988 at IBM and worked with her for many years. Even after our roles within the company changed, we still met for lunch periodically, where we enjoyed many stories and laughs together. I miss her so much already and will continue to pray for her. I will also pray for her son that he grows up knowing how much he was loved by his Mother. My sincere condolences are with the whole family.

I am always saddened when someone dies, especially so young. Although they are at peace, we still miss them very much. Jesus Wept just before he resurrected Lazarus. What comforts me the most is the promises Jesus made of a resurrection (john 11:25) and of Seeing them again and Living Forever with our loved ones, in Paradise (John 3:16,36; Psalm 37:29) (luke 23:43). What also comforts me is that these promises may also comfort your family as well.
