Obituary of Roger Franklin Hope

ROGER FRANKLIN HOPE (Retired from General Motors) After a lengthy illness, on Saturday, October 7, 2006, at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 70. Roger Hope of Scugog Island, beloved husband of Helen (nee Samells). Loved father of Ron Hope and his wife Fern of Scarborough, and Louise Hope and her husband Tom Peaker of Scugog Island. Loving grandfather of Julie, Allan, Amy, Jessica and Joseph. Survived by his sisters Lois in Australia, Eva Moores in Idaho, Isabel Harmon of Owen Sound, and predeceased by his sisters Rita Wastyne (1949) Clara Huntley (2006) and his brother Bill Hope (1993). The Family of Roger Hope will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (985-2171) on Tuesday, October 10th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
