Obituary of Ben Overgoor

BEN OVERGOOR Peacefully, after a short illness, on Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 77. Ben Overgoor of Nestleton and formerly of Port Perry, dearly loved husband of To (nee Duurland). Loved father of Jack Overgoor and his wife Nancy of Port Perry, and Piet Overgoor and Ann Julia Bajema of Port Perry. Loving grandfather of Lake and Presley. Dear brother of Gerry, Frank and John Overgoor, Mini Pennings, Mary and her husband Dolfi Holy, Margaret and her husband Peter Potocnik and Ann Overgoor. The family of Ben Overgoor will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, December 4th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy 7A) in Port Perry on Tuesday, December 5th at 11 a.m. with Father Peter Lackmanec officiating.
