Dear Jill and family, Thinking of you at this sad and difficult time. May fond memories and old family photos help to comfort you. A friend sent me this quote when my dad died nearly 20 years ago and I have never forgotten it "When my ship sails out of sight it does not mean my journey ends, only that the river bends" Although your Christmas will not be the same, may you take the time to be thankful for your Dad and all the blessings that he has given you. Affectionately, Marianne

Jill, Gail, Richard and family, Our thoughts are prayers are with you today. Jill, in the short time I got to know your Dad, he had the ability to make me laugh, just with his smiles and oh so quick wit. Quite a ladie's man that dad of yours. The gals at the home will miss him a lot. Love, Joanne and family.

Dear Jill, Gail, Michael, and Families, Ruth and I were very saddened to learn of Uncle Bud's passing. Your Aunt Ruth is thinking of all of you, as are we, and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We had intended to bring Ruth to the memorial service but it became increasingly obvious that this was not feasible and we regret this very much. The nursing home where Ruth has been since September is under Public Health 'flu quarantine which will not be lifted until the 27th at the earliest. We felt that the trip from Ailsa Craig would be too exhausting for her as she continues to resist the 'flu. Ruth received a lovely card and prayer shawl from Gail which delighted her. She was also pleased to catch up on the children's lives. Thank you very much, Gail, for thinking of Ruth. Ruth is very aware of the sadness all of you are experiencing, despite the memory loss she has suffered since the summer. At 88, she had her address book out, ready to write, and no doubt will with 'my' Ruth's help. Your Aunt Ruth does remember fondly the visit with Jill and Bud in May. Please know, as I said, that you are in our thoughts and prayers and will continue to be during this very difficult time, made increasingly difficult by the time of year. Our deepest condolences, Joe for your Aunt Ruth and The Palmer Family

To all of Clem's Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I volunteer with St. John's Ambulance Pet Therapy Program and was fortunate enough in my life to have crossed paths with Clem through Taunton Mills. I bring my 6 year old Golden Retriever "Nugget" each week for an hour or so to visit with the residents on the Dryden Wing. Each week Nugget and I would stop and chat with Clem and other residents in the t.v. area. Nugget loved visiting Clem, each week he would perform tricks for him over and over again...Clem would always have a smile on his face telling Nugget that he was good dog. It's meeting people like Clem that make doing volunteer work so enjoyable. My deepest condolences to the family, I know both Nugget and I will miss him terribly.
