Obituary of Basil Joseph Wigglesworth

BASIL JOSEPH WIGGLESWORTH Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Monday, January 8, 2007 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 84. Basil Wigglesworth of Little Britain, beloved husband and friend of 54 years of Rita (nee McGuigan). Loved father of Mary Cooper (David), John (Gwen), Peter (Jody), Paul (Julie), Terri Beck (Carl), Tom (Wendy), and Gene (Gaetane). He will be sadly missed by his 25 grandchildren. Dear brother of Margaret, Joan, Adrienne, Paul, Edward and predeceased by John, Gene, James and Leo. The family of Basil Wigglesworth will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, January 11th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy 7A) in Port Perry on Friday, January 12th at 11 a.m. with Father Peter Lackmanec officiating.
