Obituary of William McKeracher

WILLIAM JOHN "BILL" McKERACHER After a brief illness, on Thursday, February 1, 2007, at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 91. Bill McKeracher of Port Perry, and formally of North York, beloved husband of the late Clara (nee O’Meara). Loving father of Peter McKeracher and his wife Collette of Little Britain, and the late Jane McKeracher. Loved grandfather of Liam, Colleen, and Alex. Dear brother of the late Charles McKeracher and his wife Mary, and brother-in-law of Eleanor (deceased) and her husband Joe Currie of Halifax and Elaine and her husband Cornelius MacCormac (deceased) of Charlottetown and the late Ann O’Meara. Bill will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. The family of Bill McKeracher will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Sunday, February 4th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy 7A) in Port Perry on Monday, February 5th at 10 a.m. with Father Peter Lackmanec officiating.
