GLORIA CAROL MITCHELL ~ Peacefully, after a short illness, on Monday, August 20, 2012, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 70. Gloria Mitchell (nee Harrison) of Port Perry, loving companion of Joe Norton of Greenbank. Loved mother of Diane Mitchell and her partner Nick Poulter of Oshawa, and Brad Mitchell and his partner Michelle Teno of View Lake. Loving grandmother of Chantelle and her husband Mark Lacoursiere of Oshawa, Shane Fischer of Oshawa, Cory Mitchell of Oshawa, and Cole Mitchell of View Lake. Dear sister of Bonnie Mahony of Oshawa. She will be missed by her niece Karen Carruthers and her nephew Jamie Mahony and their families. The family of Gloria Mitchell will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Thursday, August 23rd from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Friday, August 24th at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow in the Funeral Home.
