CLINTON WILFRED "KEN" BADOUR It is with sadness that the family of Clinton Badour announces his peaceful passing at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at age 88. Ken Badour of Port Perry beloved husband of the late Emily (nee Myles). Loving father of Marlene and her husband the late Carl Crass of Columbus, Elizabeth and her husband Walter Stevens of Guelph, and special father of Beverly (Jodie) deceased 1971. Adored grandfather of Bradley and his wife Lesley of Mississauga, Michael of Little Britain, Jennifer and her husband Daniel of St. Catherines, Aaron of Toronto. Gregory and his wife Keltie of Olds Alberta and Sarah and her husband Bradley of Whitby. Pre deceased by his sisters Eleanor, Elizabeth, Sophia, Amelia, Kathleen and his brothers Edward, William, John, and Hillard. Will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, and many friends and neighbours from both Port Perry and the Court of Brooklin. Ken moved from the Perth area as a young man to Oshawa where he met his loving wife Emily of 65 years. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces and upon his discharge moved to Port Perry in 1947. He worked of Duplate (PPG) in Oshawa and retired from his position of Production Superintendent. In addition, along with Emily he managed an Egg Production and Farming business for many years. In his retirement he loved the challenges of raising horses and Charlois cattle up to 2004. He took great pride in his large vegetable garden and grew potatoes "second to none". He had a passion for work but took time out especially for dancing with his beloved Emily and enjoyed the many trips and vacations they took together. Ken’s love and pride for his family is unsurpassed and will remain forever in the hearts of his family. Friends may call at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, February 23rd from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of Ken Badour will be held in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. Private interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre, or the Port Perry United Church Memorial Fund.
