Dear Doreen ,Rick, Wendy,Brenda, Brian and families. Howie & I were deepley saddened by the news of Don's passing. We have been best friends for more than forty years , through good times and also some bad times and have always remained close. We know the road ahead won;t be easy without Don, but you have a very loving and close family that will help you get through this terrible time. know that we are only a phone call away & don't hesitate to call anytime. Howie & I were talking last night of the many great times we had on the boat with you guys , some of the best years of our lives. I will never forget the time we stopped for gas on the way up to the marina. Don told him to fill it up and clean the windshield. Don had the window down with the money in his hand & the attendent grapped it & went back inside. Don got out of the car, cleaned the windshield & threw bucket and all across the highway and said blank him. I will close for now & will talk to you soon, all our love from the both of us. Howie & Louise

Dear Mrs Sheehey, Brian Rick Wendy & Brenda. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Some of my fondest memories growing up were spent on Wayne Crt with your family . Mrs Sheehey always kept the cookie jar full, Rick treated me as another little brother, Wendy and Brenda were the two sister's I never had. Brian was my Best Man, my best friend, and knowing you has made me a better person. And Mr Sheehey, He had a tough exterior and a heart of gold, I will always have a special place in my heart for Don. You always knew where you stood with Don, if not. It wasn't long, and He would let you know. Don pulled no punches, he called a spade a spade. He will truly be missed and I'm glad I had a chance to be a friend. p.s. I'II have a totty in your memory. God Bless & Rest In Peace Doug Marian & Family

Rick when I look back on our life growing up I have many great memories of your father. I always felt like your home was my second home and largely because of how both Don and Doreen treated me as one of the family. I am sure you will miss your Dad as I will but I will certainly hold onto the great times we had and I am certain we will have many chance to reminisce in the future. The one thing that stands out is how your dad tried to put on a tough front but his heart was too soft to fool us.
