KATHLEEN "KAY" HUGHES Suddenly, on Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 79. Kay (nee Johnston), beloved wife of the late Harold Hughes. Loved mother of Douglas Hughes and his wife Nancy of Haliburton, Heather and her husband Ron Short of Port Perry and the late Paul Hughes. Loving grandmother of Lori and her husband Michael Zamudio of Kingston, and Doug Short and his fiancée Andrea Johns of Toronto. The family of Kay Hughes will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, March 26th from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. with Reverend Dr. John Sullivan officiating.
