VIVIAN EILEEN RIDER After a lengthy illness on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 73 Vivian (nee Johnston), beloved wife of Jim Rider of Port Perry. Loved mother of Heather and her husband Brian Davidson of Oshawa, Penny and her husband Philip Schofield of Pickering and David Ottele and his wife Shelley of Whitby. Loving grandmother of Lonnie, Kurt, Paul, Steven and Shawn and great grandmother of Hayden, Carter, Sullivan, Talia, Reed and Shayne. Dear sister of Rae and her husband Raymond Osborne of Courtice, Shirley Cole and her friend Duane Dickson of Bowmanville, Francis Johnston and his wife Donna of Enniskillen, Alvin Johnston and his wife Sharon of Kirkfield and David Johnston and his wife Jewel of Wilmot Creek. The family of Vivian Rider will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, May 1st from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Port Perry United Church on Wednesday, May 2nd at 11 a.m. with Reverend Nancy Monteith officiating.
