Obituary of Walter Sandison

WALTER EDGAR FREEMAN SANDISON (Retired Supervisor, General Motors of Oshawa –32 years) After a courageous battle with cancer, Walt passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Monday April 4, 2011, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 71. Walt Sandison of Port Perry, loving and devoted husband of 50 years to Donna (nee Bray). Cherished father of Scott and his wife Colleen, and Gail and her husband Sid Till. Proud granddad ("Pa") of Nicole, Mark, Ryan, Tyler, Cody, and Courtney. Son of the late Ross and Frances Sandison of Utica. The family of Walt Sandison will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985 2171) on Friday, April 8th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, April 9th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Paul Moorhouse officiating.
