Obituary of Lilian Timms

Peacefully after a courageous 8 year struggle with Alzheimer's, on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 86. Lilian (nee Mellor), dearly loved wife for over 65 years of Eric Timms of Port Perry. Cherished mother of Rita and her husband Don Matthews of Calgary, Stephen Timms and his wife Grace of Markham, and Susan and her husband Myles O'Riordan of Port Perry. Loving grandmother of Geoff, Colin, Rory and Eric. Dear sister of the late Ivy Birch and Cyril Mellor. The family of Lilian Timms will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, April 18th from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. An Anglican Funeral Service will be held in the Port Perry United Church, 294 Queen Street in Port Perry on Tuesday, April 19th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Canon Bruce McCallum (Church of the Ascension) officiating.
