Obituary of Gordon Edward Smith

After a short illness, on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 60. Gord Smith of Blackstock, beloved husband of Jody (nee Barnes). Loved father of Gordon Smith (Claudia Piticco-Racette) of Nepean and Jaclyn Smith (Jennifer Chilton) of Sonya. Loved son of Elsie and the late Robert Smith. Dear brother of Ronald Smith (Elizabeth), Ken Smith (Inga), Cathy Pollard (Bill), Karen MacGregor (Paul), Donna Smith and the late David Smith (Pat). Gord will also be missed by the Barnes family. The family of Gord Smith will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Sunday, December 22nd from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Monday, December 23rd at 11 a.m. with Reverend Linda Saffrey officiating.
