Obituary of Joan Adelaide Lane

Peacefully on Christmas Day, at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, at age 80. Joan (nee Real), beloved wife of Wes Lane of Port Perry for 58 years. Loved mother of Gerry, Carol and James. Joan will be missed by her grandchildren and the extended Lane family. The family of Joan Lane will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 'McDermott-Panabaker Chapel', 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Sunday, December 29th from 2 - 4 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Port Perry United Church on Monday, December 30th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Don Willmer officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region.
