Marlyn, So sorry to hear about your brother. I remember you talking about him and know how important friends and family are to you. We know that this will happen but so hard to face when it's real.
Lots of love to you and your family. Joyce and Bill.

Dear Ruth and Andrea, I will especially miss your dad, he holds a special place in my heart. I first met your dad at Tim Hortons when I would smile and say good morning to him as he was having his usual coffee and English muffin. Our relationship grew to the point where our conversations would involve me sitting down with him to have my coffee and listen to his stories. Your dad has many stories to tell. I was pleasantly surprized when your dad came to one of my fundraising events. We had our picture taken, he met my sisters and he enjoyed himself while eat some wings, pizza and listening to the music.Your dad also met my husband and my kids each time we were at Tim Hortons. Your dad would on occasion drop in to see me at the office and we would have a nice talk. I did get a chance to meet you Andrea a couple of times with your dad. I know how much you both meant to him. Your dad was a real gentleman! Rest in peace my friend! I will really miss you Jim!

Good Bye dear Jim: We were friends for almost 70 years. Met at St. Andrew's College in 1945 and supported each other throughout our lives. A dedicated friend and I'll miss our conversations. Hope you are in a happier place now. Love Doug Cowan

Rest in peace dear Jim, you had quite the life and will be missed most sincerely by "your little best friend Larkin". It saddens me to even have to tell her because you both always made each other feel so special when you saw each other. You will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by both of us. Norma and Larkin

The dayshift staff at Tim Hortons Old Simcoe Road send our sincere condolences to Jim's family. Jim became a fixture in our store over the last few years. Initially our relationship had rocky points but as we learned more about Jim it drastically improved.
I, myself spent several occasions talking with him, learning about his past. He proudly showed his beloved calculator and calculating what day of the week you were born on and how many days you spent on earth. Jim loved it when people took the time to sit down and talk to him.
We know where he sat, I always look for him there...I spent the last week asking everyone where was Jim? He will be missed.
