Obituary of Margaret Joyce Holtby-Staples

MARGARET JOYCE HOLTBY-STAPLES ~ Entered into rest on Sunday, November 6, 2011, at Reach View Village in Uxbridge, at age 87. Margaret (nee Bailey), beloved wife of the late Rev. John Staples (2010) and the late Harold Holtby (2001). Loved mother of Patricia Holtby-Heayn and her husband Edward Heayn of Norwood, Robert Holtby and his wife Jean of Uxbridge, and Neil Holtby and his wife Heather of Oshawa. Loving grandmother of Michel, Natalie, Allison, Darryl, Carina, Sarah, Joel, Amy and Matthew and great grandmother of 8. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Jeffrey, Hilda, Lillian, Sydney, Norman and Garth. Margaret will be fondly remembered by the Staples family Ann (Alex) Lawrence, Phyllis, Paul, Joy, Jim and Patrick. The family of Margaret Holtby-Staples will receive friends at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, 1680 Reach Street in Port Perry on Thursday, November 10th from 1 – 2 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Church at 2 p.m. with Pastor Barry Webster officiating. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
