Obituary of Peter John Thompson

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing after a long courageous battle with cancer on Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry at age 69. Peter Thompson of Port Perry, beloved husband of Jan (nee Robinson). Loving father of Ian Thompson and his wife Johanna of Vancouver and Megan and her husband Steve Tremblay of Little Britain. Loved Poppa Pete of Ellane Thompson and Jack and Ella Tremblay. Dear brother of Carol and her husband Allan Ross of Ottawa and uncle of Greg and Beth Ross. The family of Peter Thompson will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, July 17th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Anglican Church of the Ascension, 274 North Street in Port Perry on Saturday, July 18th at 11 a.m. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
