Obituary of Ernest Roy Swain

(Seedsman in the Cartwright area since 1947, Former Councillor for Cartwright Township, Scout Leader and Charter Member of the Blackstock Lions Club) Peacefully on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Port Perry Place, at age 93. Ernie Swain, dearly loved husband of Connie (nee Wheeler). Loved father of Judith (Brian Mountjoy), Bob Swain, and Deb (Brad McCann). Loving grandfather of Kari Anne, Kim, Valerie, Jessica, Katie, Reid and Emma and great grandfather of 9. Dear brother of Percy Swain, Janet Vernon, Winnie Cordingley, David Swain and the late Rita Wilson. The family of Ernie Swain will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Tuesday, December 8th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Blackstock United Church on Wednesday, December 9th at 1 p.m. Interment Cartwright Union Cemetery, Blackstock.
